Jones DAO wants to build the best community in DeFi. Any actions that pull more engaged members into the community in a way that is aligned with all stakeholders is our priority. For this reason, Jones DAO will be airdropping 1% of the total JONES supply to Dopex users.
Rationale
Jones DAO is built on top of the Dopex platform and is highly aligned with their users. Jones DAO is beneficial to the Dopex platform overall and is designed to create more value for all parties. We also know that users who are already involved with on-chain options strategies are precisely the people we want even more of in our community.
Eligibility & Timing
The JONES airdrop, equal to 1% of total supply (100K JONES), will be sent to Guarded Launch participants and Dopex SSOV depositors/buyers (50K for each group). The SSOV snapshot was taken in early January. Addresses on the SSOV snapshot will receive 46.125 JONES tokens each (that list can be found here). Guarded launch airdrop recipients will receive tokens according to the following tier list (eligible Guarded Launch address list is available here):
We’ll be completing this airdrop for all eligible recipients tomorrow, Feb. 17th at 6:00 p.m. UTC.
What can I do with my JONES airdrop?
Jones DAO offers compelling rates across multiple assets in our Farms. As an airdrop recipient, we’d recommend staking your JONES for 20.58% APR. If you have other assets you’d like to LP alongside your JONES tokens, our USDC and ETH pools offer 184% and 130% respectively.
Outside of JONES pairs, our jAsset pools are extremely competitive from a yield perspective. Our jETH-ETH LP, which yields an incredible 27% with essentially zero impermanent loss, is most likely the best single-sided ETH staking opportunity available in DeFi today. The next best vault available is the ETH Yearn vault on Fantom, which currently yields 9%. There’s a ton of opportunity here, so make sure you put your JONES airdrop to work in our Farms.
